Question 1

What is Kontakio?

Accepted Answer

Kontakio is live chat software for websites and messengers. Website messages, Telegram chats and callback requests come into one inbox, and the built-in CRM keeps customers, deals and tasks.

Question 2

Can the AI answer customers instead of an operator?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The AI operator answers in the website chat and Telegram from your knowledge base: website, documents and Q&A. In the cases you set it hands the dialog to a person and leaves a summary for the team, and once an operator has replied it stays out.

Question 3

Won't the AI make things up?

Accepted Answer

The AI operator answers only with facts from your knowledge base and trusted sites. If there is no answer, it honestly says it will check, or calls an operator. You can test the answers in a test dialog before launch.

Question 4

How do I add live chat to my website?

Accepted Answer

After signing up, copy one line of code from the dashboard and paste it before the closing tag. It works with WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Tilda and any custom website.

Question 5

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The free trial needs no credit card: website chat and Telegram, callback requests and notifications. The CRM and sending files come with paid plans — switch any time in the dashboard.

Question 6

How do I connect Telegram?

Accepted Answer

Create a bot with @BotFather, copy its token and paste it in the dashboard under Settings → Channels. Messages to the bot appear in the shared inbox right away.

Question 7

Can I reply to customers from my phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Turn on Telegram alerts — every new message arrives as a notification you can reply to right in Telegram. The dashboard also works in a mobile browser.

Question 8

Can my team talk to each other inside Kontakio?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Team section has groups and direct messages between colleagues. The owner and supervisors create groups and invite teammates by link or email; each invited person gets their own dashboard login.

Question 9

Are voice messages supported?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Agents record voice messages in the dashboard and visitors record them in the website widget. Voice and round video messages from Telegram play in a built-in player, and your voice messages reach the customer in Telegram as regular voice notes.

Question 10

Can I send the client an SMS?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Connect your ZudSMS account under “Channels”: enter the login, Security Hash and sender name. Dialogs then get an “SMS” tab — the message goes to the client's +992 number and stays in the history.

Question 11

How do I leave a note about a client for colleagues?

Accepted Answer

On the Professional plan dialogs have a “Comment” tab. Only the team sees the note; it is never sent to the client.

Question 12

How much does Kontakio cost?

Accepted Answer

The price depends on the plan and is charged per agent per month. See the current prices in the Pricing section above. No hidden fees, cancel anytime.

Question 13

How do I pay for Kontakio?

Accepted Answer

Top up the balance in the cabinet: by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay), in the app of any of 13 Tajik banks, or by QR code via SmartPay. You can also pay without the cabinet — by your personal account number in a bank app. The subscription is taken from the balance. G2Pay and crypto payments in USDT and USDC are coming soon.

Question 14

Which languages does the widget support?

Accepted Answer

English, Russian, Tajik, Uzbek, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Persian and Arabic. The widget detects the visitor's language and supports right-to-left text for Arabic and Persian.

Question 15

When will WhatsApp and Instagram be available?

Accepted Answer

WhatsApp Business and Instagram Direct are in development. Sign up and we will let you know as soon as they are live.

Question 16

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored as hashes and access to conversations is role-based. The account owner can export or delete all data in the dashboard.
